Cripps Barn Wedding, Bibury, Cotswolds – Abi and Craig

Oh man!! Where do I start with Abi and Craig?! I suppose I should kind of set the scene…… it was a Cripps Barn wedding, if you’ve never been, it’s a beauty; set in the gorgeous Cotswolds, in Winter!! We’re off to a good start right there! It was a black tie wedding for the gents…. is it just me, or should more weddings be black tie?! Abi rocked up in her dads stunning Morgan, and knocked it out of the park with a Hermione De Paula wedding gown, WOWZERS!!!! Like next level detailing on that bad boy!! So yeah, everyone looked the part, and it had all the makings of an amazing day……. AND IT WAS, and some!!! I left late into the night, in a bit of a blur really, not through booze as obviously I was driving! I just couldn’t quite remember what had happened during the day, it’s a difficult one to describe. From a photography POV there is something much more demanding about shooting in winter, the amount of light isn’t on your side like it is in the summer months, so the pressure to make the most of whatever daylight you have is ramped up. This extra pressure just adds to the blur and craziness of the day, and I’m sure Abi and Craig had a similar feeling when they woke on the Sunday morning, although they probably had booze to blame!! I just knew it had been a great day, you know, like a 12 out of 10 kind of day; full of laughs and emotion, everybody feeling the love, it’s amazing how a wedding brings out the PDA’s amongst guests!!!!
