The penultimate blog post of the 2016 wedding season, and it’s time for Jess and Alex at Stone Barn to hit the blog, which is a miracle really, because I still recall Jessica telling me on the day that they were close to not even booking a photographer at all, just because “they didn’t like having their pictures taken”!!!! Well thank god they did, because it would have been a complete travesty to have no visual record of this one! Although I suspect some of their guests (drunken dancelfoor girl 1!!!) might be wishing that they hadn’t booked me now!!! Sorry!!!! I hope she’s taken that shot in good spirit, I’ve had no death threats yet, so either she has, or she’s just not seen it! 😉
Anyway, what a day! Just packed with great moments, dad getting all emotional on us (I can’t blame him!), the mother of all batternberg cakes (take a bow mum!!), the best wedding car you’ve ever seen (KUSHI!!!!), some crazy ass-next level dancing skills, a starry sky, and all of it taking place at the incredible Stone Barn in the Cotswolds. But yeah, they almost didn’t want any photographs!!! 😉

Really wonderful shots Sam!
Bloody lovely stuff! The evening do shots are ace! Looks like it was pretty dark in there, too! I just noticed your workshop at QUAD and was thinking of coming along to see what your magic OCF setup is…but I then noticed the SOLD OUT bit. Ah well. Next time! 🙂
Amazing photos Sam! Can’t believe you even managed to capture a shooting star! Incredible.
