Tagging this wedding under the “winter wedding” category of my blog just doesn’t seem quite right!! Rachel and Danny’s wedding at Portsmouth Cathedral felt much more like a lovely spring day than a week before Christmas, that’s right, 1 week before Christmas!! You wait until you get to the portrait shoot on the beach, you’ll think I’m definitely telling porkies! đŸ˜‰
So, here we are, 1 week before Christmas, on the Hampshire coastline, on a spring-like day. My first visit to Portsmouth since I was a moody 13 year old, and my memories of this famous city on the south coast now bring a huge grin to my face. 2014 was an incredible year for me, jam packed with so many lovely and wonderful couples, Rachel and Danny were exactly that, and some!! It was clear from the outset, they wanted to not only declare their love for each other in front of their nearest and dearest, but also that they wanted everyone to enjoy the moment and the day as much as them, if not more.
Following the beautiful ceremony at Portsmouth Cathedral, which was lit by candles and had some close friends providing the voice of the choir, the rest of the day was full of laughs and smiles, oh yeah, and lots of crazy ass dancing!! My favourite kind of dancing!!!

Absolutely bloody superb from start to finish. Bravo dude.
really lovely post, the warm colours are beautiful. Particularly love the second dancing shot, very emotive.
This is top level buddy!
Sam, this is amazing, as usual!
You should get your name changed from Docker to “The Doctor”… Loved the work on the pier.
