Oh man, where do I even start with 2014?! It’s such a cliche, but I genuinely cannot believe how fortunate I am to call this thing I do my profession, let alone my job. It doesn’t seem real.
This was my 2nd full year of shooting weddings, and if someone had told me when I started out on this journey that in 2014 I’d shoot 53, and that would include travelling to the Philippines, France, Scotland and Italy, with a wedding in a swimming pool and a spiritual wedding, I’d suggest they had concussion and that a visit to the doctors might be in order!
So, without waffling too much, and trying not to sound like I’ve just won an Oscar, I have to pay a huge thanks to all of my couples this year. Without you guys, this post wouldn’t be half of what it is. You’ve put enormous faith in me, you’ve embraced everything about my work, you’ve trusted me, made me laugh, made me cry, and then made me laugh some more. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! To everyone who has helped me this year in one way or another, fellow photographers (you lot know who you are!), suppliers, 2nd shooters, tea makers, blog likers, Facebook fans and just generally anyone who has championed my work in 2014, an extra special thank you and virtual fist bump!!
Ok, so here it is, my best of wedding photography for 2014;
