Hands up if you wanna go back to Rhodes?!!! A Ktima wedding anyone?! ME, ME, ME, ME, ME, ME!!!!!!!!
I was about to start this blog post by saying it was the first wedding I’ve done in Greece, but I’m sat here now thinking it might actually be the first time I’ve ever been to Greece!! And do you know what? It was bloody stunning!! Emma and David’s Ktima wedding aside, the island of Rhodes was absolutely breathtaking. Lindos was postcard perfect, the water clear blue, the town and vibes had a real buzz, the food and wine certainly did not disappoint, and the DJ was one of the best I’ve encountered in the last few years….. it was instantly clear to see why these guys changed their UK venue to Ktima in Lindos!!! And I’m super pleased they asked me along to document it!
The venue; Ktima, situated just on the north side of Lindos, was a magical find by Emma and David, as soon as you walked down the entrance path, you were greeted by the most incredible ceremony backdrop; a white chapel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and what a view…. it was just slightly warm!!!!!!!! I think this weekend holds the record for my highest operating temperature; touching 38-39 degrees. I’m not sure any British health and safety officer would allow me to continue working in that heat, but stuff them, I would never let a bit of sun and heat stop me!! The only issue (and I don’t think I’ve told Emma or David this!!) is that you know it’s warm when one camera keeps shutting down from over-heating!! It was fine though, after all, this is why we have 2 cameras, but I won’t lie, it did make the bum squeak for an hour!!!!!!!!! 😉
So this is it, Ktima in Lindos, on Rhodes, in Greece!!!!! Emma and David got married….
