Nancarrow Farm, Cornwall, Wedding Photography – Charlotte and Simon

Let’s just get one thing straight here, it does not matter what I write over these next few sentences or paragraphs, I simply will not do justice to how amazingly wonderful Charlotte and Simon are, or how magnificently brilliant their wedding at Nancarrow Farm was, it doesn’t matter how many compound adjectives I use, you are just going to have to take my word for it!!! That said, I’m always one for a challenge, so I’m going to try and tell you……

So I met Charlotte and Simon for a little drink in London town around mid-April to have a chat about the plans for Cornwall, and first off, they both give good hugs!!!! Like really good “don’t let me go” hugs!!! They also both have excellent teeth!!!!! Hugs and teeth, you’ll see what I mean when you start scrolling down!! 😉 We spent some good time talking about sporting challenges, sporting injuries, cooking and advertising, before getting onto the main event, a little trip to Nancarrow Farm down in Cornwall. A hidden gem of a venue that couldn’t be further from the hustle and bustle of London life. A rustic barn with amazing grounds, perfect to host a chilled day of celebrations with friends and family; super informal, but mixed with great banter, dancing and entertainment, it sounded right up my street!!!

And it was, in fact it was more than that, it far exceeded the high hopes I already had whirring around in my mind driving down on the Friday evening. Every single element of the day, from the humanist ceremony hosted by the brilliant Zena Birch, to Simon surprising everyone by singing his vows, and the reception entertainment and audio courtesy of the Super Tenants, obviously the food and hosting put on by Nancarrow Farm was second to none!! I’m not really sure how the day could have been improved, even if Charlotte did think the surprise VW campervan guy loitering around the corner was a wedding crasher!!!! She may have confronted and grilled him during portraits!!! And then there was a surprise set from Simon and their friends in the evening!!
