In June I was invited to hang out with Carla and Jeremy in France for a stunning ceremony at Chateau de Mairy.
With some of their nearest and dearest also staying at the chateau in a little place called Mairy sur Marne, just outside of Reims, they had a little celebration. It just so happened to be amazing, and I just so happened to have a few cameras with me!!
I can’t thank Carla and Jeremy enough for allowing me to document their day. I’ve always had a real love for France having spent pretty much every school holiday there as a child, so to be able to travel to a country that holds amazing memories for me, and combine that with a job that I love doing, it means more than they will probably know. The day itself lived up to everything I had imagined and a big part of me didn’t want to leave on the following day.
I really hope I get to see these guys again. They’ll be the first people I call if I’m lucky enough to get to travel to Australia.

Wowwweee!!! This is more than just a little bit good Sam!! You’ve documented a great wedding extremely well. Absolutely love it!
Dear Sam, Carla FINALLY allowed everyone to veiw the full complement of photos just a few weeks or ago, of course including many more than appear here on your page. They are absolutely fantastic, you have taken many shots that I had regretted missing, so that is a big relief.I had been so proud of mine previous to this 🙁 It is obvious why it is important to engage a photographer, an excellent quality and sympatheric one such as yourself at a wedding. As Max pointed out, the ones taken on the old style “film” are certainly obvious in their extra clarity. Sorry, not being a photographer, I am unfamiliar with the correct termology, but they are betterer:-) I only have one better shot (not technically, of course) – a close up of THE CAT sitting on Carla’s dress 🙂 Should you ever consider coming to Oz, please feel free to look us up. It would be a honour and pleasure to welcome you to our home. Thanks for being everything Carla and Jeremy had hoped.
Sharn (Mother of the Bride:-)
