We’re back folks!!! Well, sort of, it might be another few months before we’re fully operational, but a few things are slowly returning to normal at HQ. First on the agenda is to share a few absolute rippers on the blog….. so we’re kicking off by winding the clock way back to September 2019, do you remember? I know, I know!! The good old days right?!!! Anyway, enough nostalgia for now, we’re back at the amazing Château de Queille in the Dordogne region of the South of France for Sarah and Neil, who are going to show you how to throw the mother of all parties when this shit is over, sorry Mum!!! I think we can all be excused for the odd expletive right now, can’t we?!
This was my 2nd visit to photograph a wedding at Château de Queille, just outside of a stunning village called Mirepoix, and after an amazing weekend out there a year previous, I was eager to return, even more so given how awesome and chilled out Sarah and Neil had been in the build up. Having met them and their guests for a few pre-drinks at Hotel Relais de Mirepoix the night before, I was absolutely chomping at the bit by Saturday morning. The vibes were strong at this one!!!! And it did not disappoint, although I have to admit (and this is the sign of a great wedding, I’m sure a lot of photographers can relate here….) I left late that night unable to remember really what had happened during the day. Most weddings are a blur, the age old cliché that they fly by is a “cliché” for a very good reason, but it wasn’t until I returned home, digested the days work and put together their preview that I stopped to realise just how much of an amazing day it had been.
