Weddings are pretty awesome, right?! To shoot them is something I find difficult to put into words, it’s a blend of crazy pressure and immense fun. So when you shoot a wedding that features dozens of faces you’ve known for many years, including your little bro (aka the Bingo caller), the day is only going to be even more special! Even without knowing so many of the guests at Katie and Luke’s wedding at Calke Abbey in Derbyshire, it was already an incredible day. It had everything you could hope for from a wedding; grinning galore, laughter on tap, emotion, silly-ass dancing, bingo (yep, this is a wedding blog post!!), enough cake and brownies to sink a battle ship, a red London bus, a big dose of English sunshine, and all wrapped up in a stunner of a venue; Calke Abbey! Is that everything? I feel like I’m missing something…. hmmmmmmmm, oh yeah, and Katie and Luke, they looked ok!!! 😉 by Ok, I mean on fire, smoking hot OK, ok?!!!

Shout out to Sarah Brown for helping out with pretty much every shot, and approving them, of course!!! She set them up, I pulled the trigger, she signed it off, that’s how this gig went down yo!!!!! 😉

So here it is, a day of immense fun and pleasure, and brownies;
