Here’s a collection of images from weddings I’ve shot over the past few years. I love that each and every wedding I attend is completely different to the rest; each one a reflection of the couple.
The light, location, the people, the moments, the speeches, the laughs, the tearful moments, each and every one is unique to that day. Moments like this can’t be staged or re-created, they just happen, and I love that I get to capture those moments. I’d previously trained as a creative product designer and always had a huge passion for the world of art and design, I still do, I was just never very good at drawing!! It wasn’t until I bought a 35mm Canon AE-1 in 2009, that I truly realised photography was my medium, I haven’t looked back since. I’ve now been shooting weddings full time for 8+ years, and have had the pleasure of documenting 300+ all over the UK, Europe, and worldwide!
I photograph weddings nationwide and internationally, based slap bang in the middle of the UK, in a little place called Derby, I’ve shot weddings in Suffolk, Cornwall, France and Italy, Wales, Sicily, Corsica, Spain, Antigua and The Philippines, to name a few. That’s great, I’ll get it moved across for you. Before I fully confirm it, I am asking couples postponing to 2021 if they are able to pay 50% of their remaining balance in the month of their original wedding date. I fully appreciate these are difficult times for us all, but by postponing a year I’m losing work this year and using my quota of weddings for next year. Splitting existing client balances is the best solution for my business to manage cashflow and ensure I can still trade going into 2021.

- Unlimited coverage – because weddings are about much more than just the ceremony and first dance!
- A pre-wedding consultation via Skype to get to know you both and your plans for the big day.
- A USB of fully edited images – 500+
- Full license to print and share – you just can’t sell them to OK! magazine!!
- An online slideshow and gallery of your images – a private way to view and share you images.
- Travel and accommodation for England and Wales. For Scotland please add £250. For international weddings, which naturally involve more travel; click here
- You’ll never hear me say “cheese”, or suggest that all the groomsmen hold the bride across their arms!
Micro Wedding
I’ve already been fortunate to attend several micro-weddings since the dreaded C-word landed, they’ve been amazing, the buzz and excitement is still there, even if 100+ wedding guests aren’t. In terms of what I offer, here are the details:
- A pre-wedding consultation via Zoom to get to know you both and your plans for the ceremony.
- Fully edited images with my personal grade applied.
- Full license to print and share.
- An online slideshow and gallery of your images – a private way to view and share you images.
- 2 Hours (150+ images)
- 4 Hours (250+ images)
*a small travel charge will apply for weddings outside of Derbyshire.
