At last, Charlotte and Adam’s Château de Varennes Wedding is on the blog! I’ve pretty much been meaning to get this one up and live since I shot it!! Better late than never, ay?!
Set in the stunning Burgundy region of central France, Château de Varennes is a luxury destination wedding venue that has remained in the same family for over 400 years. It’s instantly easy to see why Charlotte and Adam fell in love with the location and building; the grounds are hugely impressive and able to host a pre-wedding football match, and the interior is classically French and immaculately kept. The only problem is, that eventually, you have to leave!!!
If Charlotte and Adam haven’t considered wedding planning as a career change, then they should, because I’m not sure they could have made the day any more ideal, the weather was amazing; warm but not too hot, no one wants to be sweaty before the dancing is underway, do they?!! The day never felt rushed, nor did it drag at any points (if you have a 4 hour drinks reception, trust me, it drags!). No groomsmen broke any legs or feet during the pre-ceremony football match (a relief rather than a success maybe?!), the food/drink was next level, and the dancing relentless (inside and out!!!!), you should all know I love a packed dancefloor!!!
So yeah, Charlotte and Adam, France, Château de Varennes, dancing and drinking guests, I salute you all!!! I’m off to buy myself a nice tight pair of budgy smugglers!!! 😉
