Paige and Ryan, where to begin…… well I suppose I should go way back to early 2017, because I can still remember Paige sending me that first email, and it wasn’t to ask a dozen questions about what I offer, she had only one; “I would love for you to shoot our wedding. Please could you let me know if you are available?” I was instantly hooked on these guys, and given the sheer volume of photographers out there today, it’s a huge honour and privilege to know that a couple are set on you to document their big day, and before you’ve even had a chance to say hello!!! I’m not even sure if we skyped, but very quickly I knew we’d get on like old bezzies, and that I had to be at their wedding in Santorini. Oh yeah, there is that, Santorini got moved to Agriturismo il Rigo in Tuscany, which I have no doubt must have been a hard call to make, but having met them both for a little shoot in Cheshire a few months later, Paige and Ryan said it just didn’t feel like them. So a Tuscany wedding it was, and what a decision, because I can’t imagine this weekend going any differently to how it went. The venue, the weather, the people, the atmosphere, the dancing, it was as perfect a wedding as you could ever imagine. Ok, there was thunder and lighting, but amazingly that only added to the day and the experience everyone had whilst watching Paige and Ryan celebrate their marriage.
Agriturismo il Rigo was a sensational choice, set amongst the hills of Tuscany, in the province of Siena, it was the perfect location for the weekends celebrations. A base camp that suited everything Paige and Ryan wanted from the weekend, which kicked off with a cheeky walk to the historic town of Pienza, I can highly recommend this place if you’re ever in the area! What happened on that walk, and more importantly, just outside of Pienza, will stay amongst the friends and family in attendance that day, but if you know, you know!!!! #whenyougottagoyougottago
So this is it, the day Paige and Ryan went to Italy and got married. A little slice of Tuscany coming at your eyeballs;
