Situated on the West Coast of the stunning island of Mallorca, sits one of the worlds most remarkable wedding venues. Cap Rocat, a luxury hotel that was originally built as a secluded fortress, is carved out from the sandstone in the Bay of Palma.
It’s quite clear to see why Alexandra and Chris were so in love with Cap Rocat for their Mallorca wedding, and to be asked by them to be their destination wedding photographer was beyond a privilege. It could not have been a more impressive wedding venue, and Alexandra and Chris could not have been a more welcoming couple to document.

the worlds sexiest fortress?!!!
This was my first ever visit to the island of Mallorca as a wedding photographer, and what a way to break my duck! As destination wedding venues go, this one will always take some beating. The colours and tones created by the sandstone, not to mention the shade, make it a dream venue for a destination wedding photographer.
Friends and family who were there to celebrate their marriage will have undoubtedly had a weekend to remember, and any weddings from now on are likely to just disappoint!!
If you’re looking for a destination wedding in Mallorca, Cap Rocat can’t be recommended enough. The buildings and rooms are 5 star luxury, the food and drinks on offer are another level, the Mediterranean Sea is crystal blue, and did I mention the weather is usually pretty good?!
