On the wedding day, guests gathered at the small chapel on the estate, a beautiful space steeped in history and simplicity. It was an intimate ceremony, full of warmth, with the heavy stone walls and soft natural light adding a quiet elegance to the moment. After the vows, Amy and Jake led everyone down the pathway toward the main house, where the atmosphere shifted into celebration; cocktails in the courtyard, music drifting through the gardens, and the kind of relaxed joy that only destination weddings seem to bring.
Dinner was served outdoors as the sun dropped behind the hills, followed by an evening of dancing under the warm Tuscan air. Photographing their day in a mix of natural documentary and editorial-inspired moments, I focused on the people, the light, and the textures that make Chianti so unique. Weddings at Borgo di Pietrafitta always feel timeless; not overly produced, just real, beautiful, and full of life. Amy and Jake’s celebration was exactly that, and it was a privilege to document it.

Weddings like Amy and Jake’s are a reminder of why Tuscany holds such lasting appeal. The combination of warm light, rolling hills, and historic architecture creates a setting that feels both elevated and completely unforced. Photographing at Borgo di Pietrafitta is an experience that stays with you, the stillness of the landscape, the texture of the stone, the way the sun shifts across the vineyards throughout the day. Every element adds something genuine to the story.
If you’re planning your own destination wedding in Tuscany and you’re drawn to photography that feels natural, design-led, and honest, I’d love to hear about your plans – whether your day unfolds in Chianti, Puglia, Lake Como, or somewhere entirely your own in Italy.
