Emma and Jade. Before I talk to you about how their wedding at Babington House went (if you haven’t guessed already, it was crazily good!), let me first tell you about how we came to meet…
It was December 2016, and I was shooting a wedding in the Cotswolds; the amazing Abi and Craig! It was during dinner that I captured one of my favourite frames of the year; at a time of the day where I’d usually be sat down waiting for people to be up and moving around, I’d made the decision that year to be much more observant during the quieter times, so instead and on this occasion, I was in the room. Just watching!! And I captured a frame of these 2 amazing women sharing a little kiss at the table whilst everyone around them was busy putting the world to rights. It was Emma and Jade.
Almost 2 years later, and I had the huge pleasure of being a wedding photographer for Emma and Jade at Babington House, and I got to see Abi and Craig again!!
I know, wedding goals right?!
Not only are Emma and Jade pretty special, they are salt of the earth kinda girls, they have this innate ability to make you feel like you’ve known them for years, and very quickly I felt like I was documenting my friends getting married.
So not only were they a dream to work with and spend time with, they also happened to pick one of the best venues in the UK in Babington House. Part of the Soho House group, it’s a stunning Grade II-listed manor set in 18 acres of English countryside in the heart of Somerset, have I sold it to you yet?
The day itself could not have gone much better, it had everything you’d want from a wedding, a beautiful location filled with style and class, and a group of friends and family who were brimming with love and celebration. The drinks, smiles and laughs never stopped, even after the music came to an end!
I’ve since had the pleasure of returning to Babington House as a wedding photographer, and each occasion has been incredibly special and unique, it truly is an outstanding wedding venue.
