Well I’m not quite sure where the summer has gone, Julie and James’ wedding took place on a stunning Saturday back in May, but it feels like 3 weeks ago!!
We’d previously met for a cool little engagement shoot in the rolling valley of Dovedale, and speaking to them that day about their wedding (they’d hired the awesome PapaKata Teepee’s), I knew we would be in for a visual feast!! The day kicked off with the boys and James’ family at a cool little house over-looking Carsington Reservoir, not a bad backdrop to start your wedding preparation! Julie was back at her folks farm where the reception was to take place. The teepee was up and basking in the sun. Guests were soon in the mix.
Julie and James also win an award for their big day; The Church closest to the wedding venue award!! I counted 44 paces, pretty much next door!!!
Flowers came courtesy of the mighty talent of Rowan Tunaley, her wedding is actually next up on the blog!!
This is Julie and James and their amazing day;
Absolute magic sam. The photo of the guys with their tongues out made me chuckle!! Lovely work and loads of great shots.
